Warrior+ WSO Pro Integration

Starting version 4.1, DAP supports integration with Warrior Plus (WSO Pro Standard).

And starting version 4.3.1, DAP now also supports Warrior Plus’s new Adaptive Payments system (WSO Pro Adaptive).

DAP supports both WSO Pro Standard and WSO Pro Adaptive. The same dap script (/dap/dap-wsopro.php) supports both standard and adaptive payments. Only the version of the script that’s included in DAP v4.3.1 has support for WSO Pro Adaptive – older versions of the above script will NOT support WSO Adaptive, and will only support WSO Pro Standard.

How to set it up

If you are on DAP 4.1 or later, you will find a script called dap-wsopro.php in the dap folder.

Set the IPN (instant payment notification) url in your WSO Pro account, to point to the following URL:

http://yoursite.com/dap/dap-wsopro.php

(NOTE: replace yoursite.com with the name of your site).

Make sure product name in DAP exactly matches the product name in WSO Pro.

Also, make sure you have the “Welcome Email” Subject & Body configured in the DAP Product page with the right merge tags to send out user login/password.

How it works

When a user completes purchase of your WSO, WSOPro will send payment notification to DAP to the IPN URL specified above.

DAP will then automatically create the membership account, allow user access to the product and send out the thank-you email configured under the DAP product with the login details.

Can you clarify/confirm the following for the WSO Pro setup?

– Sale Type: ‘Subscription’
– Recur Limit: ‘6’ if I just want to have a 6-month membership, correct?
– Delivery URL: whatever our login page is, correct?
– No need to worry about an autoresponder service if we’re having DAP do that, correct?

Also, by using DAP with WSO Pro we must use the affiliate program in DAP and we can NOT use the WSO Pro affiliate program… Is that correct?

Thanks for your help!!

Does Warrior Plus work with the upsell plugin and if so how do you set it up so that Warrior Plus affiliates get commission for the upsells as well?

Great question Frank. Personally I don’t know as I haven’t tried using DAP with a WSO upsell.

Drew,

If you use WSO Pro to sell your main product but try to offer upsell via the DAP upsell tree plugin, it won’t work because the DAP upsell framework is designed to work directly with Authnet and Paypal.

But… if you use WSO Upsell and try to set the IPN to point to the dap WSO script, it may work, but we have not tested it.

Mike Lantz said he was willing to work with you to integrate 1 click upsells between DAP and WSO Pro. This is a HUGE HOLE that needs to be filled desperately!

This means more DAP sales!

And more money for the vendors/affiliates and WSO Pro

This is Mike’s ticket system=>

Let’s get this done so everyone can get paid!

Hey Veena,
I have been checking out this product for a while. I beleive you are leaving money on the table. YOU MUST AS A MATTER OF URGENCY develop a scrip for integration with KUNAKI or like SCRIPTS. I KNOW am one of the people who have been waiting for you to do just that! When are you intending to do that

Reply
Veena Prashanth - December 4, 2011

Hi Vincent,

The demand for Kunaki is not as high as few other key things we have on our to-do list that more dap users would benefit from, but yes, Kunaki is still on our list and we will definitely get to it soon.

No timelines yet. Sorry.

Hey there Ravi and Veena,

When you guy do get around to adding print on demand, I would suggest you also take a look at http://www.vervante.com along with Kunaki. The benefit here for the business owner is that they have a 30 day turn around before you have to pay on outstanding orders shipped. I believe nancast uses them along with kunaki and one other

Hi Matt,
Yes, makes sense. We will certainly look into the API support offered by vervante.com and if it’s straightforward, hopefully within the next few months, we can have it integrated with dap.

Hi Veena & Ravi,

I like this integration part . I have couple of questions :

1. Can affiliates in DAP site redirect people to WSO affiliate link by adding that link to DAP affiliate link? So, that new user at DAP site register under that affiliate link just like the way you explained for clickbank pay par lead

http://www.digitalaccesspass.com/doc/incredibly-powerful-affiliate-program/

2. What if the user already have an account at DAP site and buy WSO? Does a user get new user name and password after WSO pucchase or it will be the same user name and password if he purchased WSO with same email address?

Thanks in advance.

– Denny

Hi there,

WSO Pro has recently changed – just in the last few days – and I noticed the following message,

“IMPORTANT: For WSO Pro Advanced the data sent to these URLs has changed. It now includes a subset of data from here. We recommend not using much more than the transactionid and email address, as these fields are subject to change in the future. Questions? Open a support ticket here.”

How does this effect our DAP setup? Has anything changed?

Thanks!
Drew

Hi Drew,
>>How does this effect our DAP setup? Has anything changed? << DAP 4.3.1 supports WSO Pro Advanced integration. The same dap script (dap-wsopro.php) now supports both WSO Standard as well as WSO Pro Advanced/Adaptive integration. Thanks, Veena

So, that new user at DAP site register under that affiliate link just like the way you explained for clickbank pay par lead < < Yes, to redirect to a specific page/url, just add the text "&p=” to the end of the dap affiliate link, like this:

http://yoursite.com/dap/a/?a=1&p=www.example.com/somepage.html

Does a user get new user name and password after WSO pucchase or it will be the same user name and password if he purchased WSO with same email address? << If the user purchases WSO with the same email address, dap will simply add the product to the existing dap account. DAP will not create a new user account.

I’m not sure if I missed something here but I just ran two trial sales through WSOpro and observed the following.

1st sale I set the IPN notification in WSOpro to http://mysite.com/dap/dap-paypal.php and everything went through fine so it seems. User was credited with product and sent welcome email by DAP, Mailchimp autoresponder email confirmation sent, affiliate credited. The only thing was that the redirect went back to WSOpro with no auto login to DAP.

The 2nd sale I set the IPN notification in WSOpro to http://mysite.com/dap/dap-wsopro.php thinking that perhaps this time the redirect may have taken the purchaser to DAP login but it also went back to WSOpro. All other aspects seemed identical to the first sale that didn’t use the dap-wsopro.php script.

This leaves me wondering,.. what’s the point of using dap-wsopro.php script when it appears to do nothing different than dap-paypal.php script?

Russell,

Warrior Plus Adaptive will NOT work if you use dap-paypal.php.

We have tested dap-wsopro.php with WSOPro and if at all you have any integration issues when you use dap-wsopro.php, we will support it.

If you use dap-paypal.php, and it does not work with WSOPro, we will not be supporting it.

Hi Veena,
yes I figured it must have something to do with adaptive payments but as I wasn’t using that feature it didn’t affect anything.
Point taken about the proper integration process requiring dap-wsopro but as there was no mention about whether the after purchase redirect should still be going to WSOpro and not back to DAP I will assume that that is normal behavior in which case I would personally set the “download page” field in WSOpro (where the “Access Your Prodcuct” link in WSOpro redirect page takes you) to DAP login page and rely upon the purchaser to input his/her own user name and password obtained from the DAP email sent after purchase.

Reply
Veena Prashanth - July 25, 2012

Correct.

After purchase, you can send them to a thankyou page where you can tell them to check their email for membership id/password and also include a link to login page on the thankyou page.

OR
You can directly send them to the dap login page.

What about Key Generation URL in WSO Pro. Since you don’t mention it here I am assuming you leave it blank?

Reply
Veena Prashanth - February 20, 2013

Hi Rainer,

DAP does not need the Key Generation URL. You only need to set the IPN URL to point to the http://yoursite.com/dap/dap-wsopro.php script and make sure the product name in WSO Pro EXACTLY matches the product name in DAP.

Thanks,
Veena

Dear Veena,

Does this script support recurring payments? It is great that you can integrate DAP with a Payment Processor of our choice, but i would be a silly thing if one would have to extend memberships manually after one year, wouldn’t it. How does this work?

Thanks,

Austrian

Does this work for Warrior Payments offered at Warrior Forums or this is not yet supported as there is mention of it at the documentations?

Reply
Veena Prashanth - January 2, 2015

Hi Hossam,

DAP does not support Warrior Payments yet but we are currently working on the integration. We hope to release the new integration with WP in a couple of weeks.

Thanks,
Veena

Thanks Veena for the swift reply.
They say in their documentations here Whenever a sale is made, refunded or reversed, Warrior Payments will send a FORM POST message to the IPN notification URL specified for your product. The message will contain the EXACT response we receive from the PayPal GetTransactionDetails API call. and from Russell Hall comment here regarding WSO+ it looks like Warrior Payments can be integrated easily using the /dap/dap-paypal.php IPN script. Just wanted to leave this comment in case someone else has tested that with success. I personally went ahead and configured my WSO that way and should report back if this has worked out. Can’t afford waiting a couple of weeks and if this not worked out I am gonna change my setup and use my JVZoo buy now buttons in the WSO.

Hi Hossam,

I think Russell is probably using a customized version of the dap-paypal.php script. I don’t think the dap-paypal.php script will work because the verification process to make sure the IPN came from Paypal will likely fail.

Anyway, we will let you know when the new DAP script for handling Warrior Payments is ready.

Thanks,
Veena
