DAP Shopping Cart Checkout page

Here’s a screen-shot of how the DAP checkout page looks if you use the DAP internal shopping cart.

You can always add your own header (/dap/inc/cartheader.php) and footer (/dap/inc/cartfooter.php) to the checkout page.

You can find documentation here – http://www.digitalaccesspass.com/documentation

Look for upsell tree documentation.  This documentation applies to the DAP shopping cart as well.

It's upto you whether you want to offer upsells or not. You can use the upsell plugin to offer upsells or just use it as a regular buy page with no upsells (return users to the thankyou page instead of upsell page upon successful completion of initial purchase).

how are debit cards handled? Are they entered the same way/place as a credit card?

Hi, Just wanted to put in a simple little feature request. I am in Australia. When I fill out the checkout form, I get to the point where it says “state”. After a quick look, I see that they are only US states, so I assume I am meant to leave this. So I skip it, fill in the rest of the form, then hit submit. Of course it fails, because I have not filled in my state. When I check it again, there are Australian states, because by now I have put in my country.

I just think it would be a bit more user friendly if you ask for the country first, then it would populate the state box, then ask for the state. Thanks 🙂

Thanks Dan.

We will be making several updates to the dap cart and releasing it in 4-5 months. We will try to incorporate this change also in that release.

Hi Veena,

Our product is a membership subscription. But our Authorize.net account is also being used for our other websites.

Is there a way to for the Shipping Information to get the value of the Billing Information without enabling “Show “Ship-To Address on Checkout” in the Cart options?

When I disabled it, all our transactions became pending in review because of the FDS (Shipping Address Verification Filter).

When I enabled it, the transaction was processed.

Is there a work around for this? We don’t want to show the Shipping Information in the checkout page since we won’t deliver any product.

Thanks 🙂

It looks like the location of the header and footer files has changed. Where can I find them to add custom header and footer now? (Using DAP 4.4.3)

Thanks much!

Good afternoon,

I was wondering if it would be possible to change the information that is requested on the checkout page. I would like to include a phone number option as well as the email address. Thank you for your help.

Chris

Hi Chris,

Yes, you can add custom fields to the checkout page.

Just visit the DAP admin -> Cart Options page, select the product and you will find info on how to add custom fields there.

Make sure to define custom fields (that you want to capture on the checkout page) in dap admin -> users -> custom fields.

Thanks,
Veena
