When we first launched DAP several years ago, we offered a 1 penny ($0.01) trial for new users to try out DAP.
But at the time, we didn’t have nearly the documentation, self-help videos or the staff that we have today. So we couldn’t keep up with the large influx of trial users.
And because membership sites were a new “thing” back then, we were getting a lot of tire-kickers who would just sign up to see what the fuss is all about, use up a lot of tech support in getting DAP installed and set up, never do anything with it, and then cancel soon thereafter.
Things got so hectic that we weren’t able to focus on the paying customers who actually stayed on after the trial. So we shelved the idea soon thereafter.
But it’s a completely different story today, given how much we’ve grown as a company since.
Plus this is our pre-anniversary month leading up to our 5th anniversary next month! So what better to go retro than bringing back the original free trial.
So the 1 Penny Trial is back with a vengeance – for a limited time.
And now would be a great time to introduce DAP to your audience. Let them know about the 1 penny trial. They can try DAP for 14 days, and if it’s not everything they’ve heard it would be, then they can simply cancel their trial, and they won’t be charged any more pennies thereafter.
